HUB lecture XIII: Mental health of university and high school students

Yesterday, in the Miss Irby hall of Homework HUB, a lecture was held with the goal of raising awareness of the World Mental Education Day, entitled: Mental health of university and high school students.

The lecture was given by Bojan Šošić, B.Sc. psych, a member of the expert board of the Association for Mutual Assistance in Mental Trouble TC “Phoenix” from Tuzla. All participants actively engaged in discussions shared their experiences, and Mr. Šošić introduced us to current events that threaten to impair the mental health of young people.

They also talked about current trends, social networks, but also about TV shows, which create a wrong image in the perception of young people. We would like to thank Mr. Bojan Šošić, who came to the Homework HUB from Tuzla, to share his knowledge with the students, but also to give answers to many questions.

This is the first in a series of lectures on the mental health of students, which was realized in coordination with the Office for Student Support of the University of Sarajevo and Homework HUB. As we announced before, Homework HUB will organize more such lectures in the coming period, which the goal of breaking the stigma of the topic.
